Verdel are currently expanding their core technical team through the addition of an Electronics Engineer.
This position will be responsible for the design and development of the electronic systems infrastructure required for Verdel's mass spectrometer products, incorporating all aspects of precision HV power supply design and associated interfaces to deliver the control potentials to the spectrometer’s ion optics and synchronise them with the other components in use.

We are looking for an Application Scientist to join our team to lead the work on identifying potential uses of the technology for customers; this will involve running challenging samples, followed by publishing application notes and papers to demonstrate the potential of ToC-MS™ .
The successful candidate will work closely with the Verdel scientists and engineers leading the instrument design. They will also work with customers to analyse their samples using ToC-MS and analyse/report the results.
We are looking for a recent PhD or post-doc researcher who has a very strong understanding of the fundamentals of all aspects of tandem mass spec, from sample preparation to data analysis and interpretation
They do not need to know details of the TC-MS technique as this can be taught by Verdel – it will be easily picked up by the right candidate.
For more information, please email info@verdelinstruments.co.uk
The Verdel team are always interested in hearing from people who have skills in our fields of interest; the design and development of mass spectrometry instruments or people with business development skills and contacts in our target markets.
We are also interested in talking to distribution and post-sales support/service partners.
