Verdel Instruments is excited to announce that it has successfully closed its next funding round, raising £2 million in convertible loans. £1 million is from the government backed Futures Fund, matched by an additional £1 million investment from their current partner, Longwall Ventures.
The funds will be used to support the ongoing development of the company’s novel, patented 2DMS technology, with the aim of establishing the company’s position as the leading innovator and product in this rapidly developing field.
Robert Burch, CEO of Verdel said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Longwall Ventures; the funds raised will underpin our product development programme and allow the company to expand its core team of engineers, mass spec experts and applications specialists.”
